If you collect 20th century ceramics you can subscribe to the gallery's informative email notices (upcoming events, news, new works, new books). By keeping us appraised your “wish list,” those artists you are interested in (and even more specific the period and style) we can send you images whenever we receive work that meets your specification. In addition GCG will send you notices from time with a password allowing access to the private room where works will be gathered for your consideration. SELLING

GCG, as a public gallery, has resold more major modern and contemporary ceramic art than all three major New York auction houses combined. We mostly get higher prices and our sales commission is usually less than that of an auction house. Furthermore, work is sold within a discrete environment unlike auctions where the failure to sell affects an artworks future value. The sale commission varies depending on the artist, retail value, and other factors. In some cases GCG will purchase works outright. Works are fully insured once they are in our hands until sold or returned. If you are considering selling works, do send us images by email with FULL captions, year, dimensions (or mail pics to PO Box Santa Fe).
